It is not breaking a barrier. The plane creates a pressure that is so high that the water in the air becomes fluid. Tecnically speaking a barrier of sound does not excist. You can only go faster then the speed of sound. You will hear a sonic boom (because of doppler). But you won`t see a cloud. Ty for listening. Any questions?
